Albert Holloway

Founder

Albert Holloway is the founder of TIPAAA, a 501(c)(6) organization.  Albert is a recognized executive in the Physician and Health Care Trade association communities and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TIPAAA since its founding in 1994. 

Mr. Holloway and TIPAAA strive to provide IPAs with services that help key decision makers implement and manage appropriate and efficient operational systems.  Recognizing that healthcare is regional, TIPAAA is structured on a state chapter basis.  This organizational structure combines the advantages of smaller state and local structures with the size and influence of a national organization.  Mr. Holloway has personally organized and managed several IPAs including specialty IPAs.  He has held faculty positions at the University of California, Berkeley-School of Public Health, Golden Gate University in San Francisco and the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Holloway has over 35 years experience in healthcare management as a hospital and physician group administrator.  Mr. Holloway has served on numerous national and local civic committees (e.g. Managed Care Committee for HFMA National and Northern California, Board of Director HFMA National, Vice President Board of Directors, National Food Management, Inc., Blue Ribbon Panel of Navajo National Healthcare (NNH) and past President of the East Bay Center for Performing Arts).  He is a member of the Board of Directors of IPNI, iMedica and MedcomSoft.  Mr. Holloway is also the founder of the IPA Association of California and directed the establishment of physician group coalition in South Africa, African Health Synergies (AHS).
